Capt. Clark Baldwin

Clark Baldwin (known as Woody to his friends) fell in love with Mississippi River walleyes almost 50 years ago.  Woody's passion for walleyes and the river were fueled by his father, who took him fishing on Pool 8 whenever they had the chance.  This has driven his passion like no other, now spending least 100 days on the water chasing "eyes".  Back in 1996 Woody moved north to Menomonie, WI and started fishing the famous "Pool 4"- Lake Pepin. Also, Woody is well versed in fishing the Fox River for the spring walleye run, where there's always a great shot at a 12 pound plus fish.  Woody takes great pride and satisfaction in sharing his tactics with others on how to be a more successful angler.  Passing on his passion and knowledge is a main driving factor, which all that have shared the boat with Woody can attest.

Capt. Dan McGuire

C

Dan began his pursuit of Mississippi River walleyes while in college. Growing up in
southwestern Minnesota, Dan spent his early years catching multiple species in the
small pot-hole lakes near his hometown. Once he got the chance to chase walleyes on
the moving water of the Mississippi, he was addicted! He spends every chance he gets,
honing his river fishing skills and learning the seasonal movements/patterns of
Mississippi River walleyes. Dan has also spent the last 30 years as a tournament
angler. He has competed, and still competes, in a variety of local, regional, and national
level tournaments all across the midwest. Through his tournament competition, he has
gained a wealth of knowledge on a variety of complex bodies of water - rivers; flowages;
reservoirs; and natural lakes (large and small). Many of the tournaments Dan competed
in took him to the waters of Green Bay. Green Bay, and all of the bays and tributaries
that make up this great system, soon became one of his favorite fisheries. Chasing big
walleyes, especially big Green Bay and Mississippi River walleyes is Dan’s passion!
Besides being an avid walleye fisherman, Dan had a successful career as an educator.
His teaching skills are an important part of all of Dan’s guide trips, as he not only wants
to help you catch more fish, but he wants to help you become a better angler. A day on
the water with Dan is a great opportunity to share his knowledge, experience, and
passion for hunting big walleyes.

Capt. Jeff Albarado

Jeff Albarado (also known as Tate). For Tate it is a generational love affair with Lake Pepin. He remembers climbing over the bluff with his grandfather, father, son,(and soon grandson) to fish. These fishing trips lead to a Biology degree and a Fisheries Biologist job on Pool 4. For two years he sampled fish populations, learning the river
and lake like few others are able. Tate moved on to another passion which is teaching, he taught HS Biology for the past 34 years. During those years, Tate helped develop
the HS fishing league in Wisconsin, instilling the passion for fishing to hundreds of kids. Now, during his retirement, Tate is excited about sharing his passion of how to catch
Pool 4 walleyes and more. Tate spends hundreds of days a year on the water and is committed to working hard to ensure his clients catch fish and have a great time.
